As Senior Editor at MAD Magazine and MAD Kids I recruited over 45 writers and cartoonists, and worked with them to create new intellectual properties that pushed MAD in new directions without betraying its core sensibility. I also:
was part of the team deciding tone/themes/directions for magazines/products.
pitched books to publishing partners and shepherd subsequent development, ensuring faithfulness to MAD voice.
commissioned and edited articles/cartoons.
consulted on art/design/production.
created character/feature bibles for all licensed media.
helped launch MAD Kids.
